KYBELLA® is approved by the FDA for use under the chin and can effectively eliminate a double chin. Most patients require 2 treatments of Kybella to gain the best results but some individuals reported receiving 2 vials of Kybella during one treatment and obtaining the results they desired. Final results can take up to six months to be revealed but most patients reported an improvement in their double chin by 6-8 weeks after the procedure. The most common side effects of KYBELLA® include swelling, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area. These are not all of the possible side effects of KYBELLA®. Final results can take up to six months to be revealed but some patients reported an improvement in their double chin by eight weeks after the procedure. Before your appointment: Avoid alcohol & Ibuprofen use for at least 2-3 days in order to minimize any potential bruising and/or bleeding. Aftercare: Apply Neosporin at bedtime. Take Tylenol if you are experiencing minor pain/discomfort.
