Frequently Asked Questions

Is a consult required?

No. Even if you're a new client, go ahead and book! Tatjana will perform a consult with you during your visit.

How long do lip fillers last?

Juvederm products last 9-12 months on average. This however, depends on your metabolism & exercise frequency

Do lip fillers hurt?

Topical lidocaine will be applied for 15-20 minutes prior to the procedure to minimize any pain. No pain is experienced post-procedure.

Can I get lip fillers if I'm pregnant?

Hyaluronic acid-based fillers (Juvederm, Restylane) have not been studied in pregnant women, so unfortunately the answers is no. Same goes for breast feeding.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cards, cash, Care Credit as well as Alle points.

We do not accept checks.

How long does Botox last?

Botox generally lasts 4-6 months.

Warm weather/extreme temperatures as well as excessive exercise may result in faster metabolism of Botox.

I've never had filler before, how much should I start with?

It depends on what you're comfortable with. For first-timers, I'd recommend starting with either a 3/4 syringe or even a full, just to give your lips some foundation. Once swelling subsides (1-3 days after) your lips will still have a natural appearance. Lip augmentation is a process-the best results occur with 1.5 syringes.

Can I apply ice to my lips to help with swelling after injections?

NO. It is NOT recommended to ice your lips. Ice causes lips to shrink, and heal unevenly.

*NEVER APPLY ICE TO YOUR LIPS PERIOD.

How long is the healing period for PDO threads?

This depends on the location where the threads were inserted as well as the thickness of the threads themselves.

Jawline PDO threads: 5-14 days
Cheek PDO threads: 3-10 days
Nasolabial/Marionette line PDO threads: 3-7 days
Chin PDO Tightening: 2-5 days
PDO Cat Eye: 3-10 days
PDO Brow Lift: 3-10 days

These are approximations-some people heal faster or slower than others*

Can I get a Botox lip flip and lip filler at the same time?

Yes-absolutely! The lip flip won't delay or negatively effect any healing from lip filler.

What do I need to do to prepare ahead of time when it comes to lip/dermal filler?

Avoid blood thinners (Motrin, Ibuprofen & Aleve)
Avoid facial waxing, bleaching, tweezing or using hair removal cream 2 days prior
Avoid alcohol use 24 hours prior
